Canadiens vs. Red Wings Game Thread, roster, lines, and how to watch

The Habs are done for.

The Red Wings, on the other hand, are in the fight of their lives. It should be an interesting game given the pressure is off on one side and higher than ever on the other.

The Habs have just one win in their last five games, and two in their past eight, increasing their chances of winning first overall in the draft lottery to six percent, with only seven other teams having a better chance than them.

The Wings are eight in the Eastern Conference right now, tied in points with the Flyers who have one less win, but also a game at hand. The Wings have seven games left to play in the regular season, but could benefit from the Boston Bruins‘ slide as the Bruins are only one point up on the Flyers and Red Wings.

The Wings are coming into Montreal on a 3-2 win last night against Buffalo after falling 7-2 to the Penguins on Saturday afternoon.

Lineup notes: Jacob de la Rose returns to the lineup in place of Stefan Matteau; Mike Condon gets his 51st start of the season.

NHL Draft Lottery Probability: The Habs sit at 6% chance of drafting first overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft behind seven other teams with the Edmonton Oilers once again having the greatest chance of picking first overall right now at 20%.

The puck drops at 7:30 PM EDT.
