Grading Mattias Norlinder’s season

He is a left-handed shot, and is listed at 5’11”, 179lbs. He was drafted in the third round (64th overall) of the 2019 NHL draft.

Since Norlinder was drafted in the third round he can be invited to training camp at the start of the season, however if he doesn’t make the club he has to be offered back to Frölunda in SHL who has a valid contract with Norlinder before he could play with the Laval Rocket.

He had five goals and five assists in 37 regular season SHL games. In seven playoff games, he had three goals and two assists.

Our super European correspondent Patrik Bexell was able to reach Norlinder after the news.
