The Montreal Canadiens have sent Owen Beck back to the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League, the team announced on Wednesday.

Beck was recalled prior to Sunday’s game against the New York Rangers and played two games with no points on the team’s fourth line. Beck played 8:13 against the Rangers and 6:57 on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Laval Rocket play on Wednesday night in Laval against the Hershey Bears, and it is possible they make another roster move before Thursday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings or the Rocket’s game on Friday against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
They could also choose to return to Michael Pezzetta, who has been a healthy scratch for the last two games.
