Carey Price, Shea Weber, Andrei Markov, and other veterans will not make trip to Detroit

After their penultimate regular-season game on Friday night, Claude Julien announced that the Montreal Canadiens would be leaving several players behind when they travel to play the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow.

One thing that allows for that rest is that Jordie Benn seems to be ready to go, and will get one tune-up game before the post-season begins.

Charlie Lindgren gets another start in goal, looking to extend his career-opening winning streak to three games.

It will essentially be a pre-season lineup that takes on the Red Wings tomorrow. Pride is the only thing on the line, and it will be interesting to see how the playoff-bound Habs approach the game.
