After Saturday’s win over the St. Louis Blues, the Montreal Canadiens recalled Lucas Condotta from the Laval Rocket. He will join the team as it travels to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers on Sunday night.
Josh Anderson missed the end of Saturday’s game after blocking a shot with the inside of his foot. He’s able to travel with the team, but there may be some concern that he wouldn’t be able to play through the swelling tomorrow, and Condotta was brought in in case an already decimated roster with zero healthy scratches needs another player.
Condotta just played two games in two nights for Laval versus the Utica Comets. Through six AHL games this year, he has three assists. He has four games of NHL experience over the past two seasons, scoring his first NHL goal in his debut in 2022-23.
