Eyes on the Prize alumnus Mike Obrand joins the podcast to discuss the weekend games between the Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Prospect Showdown.
Toronto had better goaltending depth and a forward group with some extra experience, the Canadiens outshot the Leafs over the two games, despite a shootout loss and one-goal regulation loss.
The Canadiens brought their best defensive prospects outside the NHL, with the exception of Bogdan Konyushkov, to the ice to stifle the waves with their oil. Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, David Reinbacher and Adam Engström had both positive and negative things that stood out though out the weekend. In this podcast Mike Obrand and Patrik Bexell discuss their observations and takeaways from the weekend.
