Pre-season game 1: Montreal Canadiens vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Start time: 7:00 PM EDT / 4:00 PM PDT
In the Canadiens region: RDS (French)
Streaming: ESPN+, RDS
The Montreal Canadiens play their first of six pre-season games tonight, welcoming the Philadelphia Flyers to the Bell Centre.
It will be the fans’ first look at Patrik Laine in competitive play wearing his Habs jersey, playing on tonight’s top trio, and one that has been together since camp opened, with Alex Newhook and Kirby Dach.
Lane Hutson, Adam Engström, and Logan Mailloux are all in action as the young blue-line hopefuls all get an early look and could see a lot of action over the next few weeks for the coaching staff to get a good look at everyone. Hutson is paired with David Savard for the match, while the other two will form a third pairing that Martin St-Louis can manage the ice time for on home ice.
