Martin St-Louis has made a couple of surprising moves ahead of his team’s third game in four days. First, he has left Joel Armia in the press box, wanting to keep a winning group intact rather than add in a new body. Cayden Primeau will also get his first start of the season over Samuel Montembeault, thrust into a match versus one of the league’s top offensive teams.
One change was necessary after David Savard went down with an injury last night. His replacement is Gustav Lindström who was called up from the AHL to take a spot. The right-shot defenceman was brought in from Detroit in the Jeff Petry deal, and will play his first game in a Habs jersey.
