Montreal Canadiens lineup vs Panthers: Domi, Suzuki, Peca make Habs debuts

Fans at the Bell Centre will catch a glimpse of some new faces

The Montreal Canadiens announced the lineup that will take to the ice tonight against the Florida Panthers, and Nick Suzuki and Matthew Peca are among the players making their Canadiens debuts.

Carey Price is dressed and will get the start after Antti Niemi and Charlie Lindgren split time on Monday night in the team’s 3-1 over New Jersey. Niemi will come in for Price tonight as well.

Jonathan Drouin will make his pre-season debut alongside Max Domi and Joel Armia as the trio looks to build on what they showed in the first scrimmage.

Suzuki has practiced with Paul Byron and Nikita Scherbak and they should be a dynamic line as well for the Canadiens. Will Bitten is also in the lineup.

Mike Reilly, Jordie Benn, and Jeff Petry will likely get the brunt of the playing time on the back-end. Josh Brook and Xavier Ouellet are also making their Habs debuts.

It will be a good test for the Canadiens tonight as they will be facing what is close to a full NHL lineup from Florida.

Puck drop will be at 7:30 p.m. We will have a full game thread later today.
