Tatar-Danault-Gallagher
Drouin-Domi-Lehkonen
Byron-Kotkaniemi-Armia
Deslauriers-Peca-Shaw
Benn-Petry
Reilly-Juulsen
Mete-Ouellet
The most notable is that Karl Alzner will be a healthy scratch against the Flames after the veteran defender struggled in Saturday’s loss to the Ottawa Senators. Beyond that, Victor Mete’s hand appears to be good enough for game action once more, and he will re-join the lineup on the third pair with Xavier Ouellet.
Jordie Benn who has been playing extremely well all season gets a promotion to the top pairing with Jeff Petry, and the second pair of Noah Juulsen and Mikey Reilly remains the same.
For the forwards, the youngsters in Charles Hudon and Nikita Scherbak are the odd-men out as Nicolas Deslauriers and Andrew Shaw take their usual spots on the Canadiens fourth line.
As expected, Carey Price will start in net with Antti Niemi serving as his backup.
