Montreal Canadiens extend David Desharnais

The Montreal Canadiens have signed centre David Desharnais to a 4-year, $14-million contract extension.

At roughly noon, theÂ Canadiens announced that hard hitting defenceman Alexei Emelin signed a 4 year extension.
