Just a few short days after the NHL entry draft, the Montreal Canadiens have announced the 31 players who will be in attendance at their annual development camp in Brossard.

The entire list of players attending the camp can be found here. It is a shorter roster than we’ve seen in recent years, but this is relatively normal given that a lot of their young players are already playing in the NHL. The biggest name in attendance will be Michael Hage, one of their first-round picks from the 2024 draft. Of course, their top pick from that selection is already an NHLer, and will be saving himself for regular training camp.

Off ice testing will begin tomorrow, on Canada day, while the on-ice sessions will run on July 2-3, with the always popular scrimmage being on Thursday. With a smaller roster, it seems that only one scrimmage is scheduled for this camp.
