The CWHL has officially released their schedule and Les Canadiennes will open their season on October 13 against the Calgary Inferno.

The season-opening series will have two games, Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

No arenas have been announced for any of the games. Last year the team held most of their games at the Michel Normandin Arena, part of the Claude Robillard Sports Complex and also held games at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard at the Montreal Canadiens practice facility. They also played one game at the Bell Centre.

One would imagine their season will follow a similar path this season as the details are being finalized.

The team’s trip to Shenzhen, China to face the Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays will be three games from December 12-15 right before the team’s Christmas break.

They will play the defending Clarkson Cup champion Markham Thunder for the first time on the weekend of October 20-21 at home. They will also play the Thunder to close the regular season on the weekend of February 23-24.

The team has 15 home games and 13 road games as the CWHL will stay with a 28 game regular season.

The CWHL’s All-Star Weekend will be January 19-20.

Montreal will hold their training camp this month, and we will have all of the details once they are announced.

Here is their full schedule with all details currently available:
