The best players from the Canadian Women's Hockey League will converge in Toronto, for the second annual CWHL All-Star weekend.

Last year, close to 7,000 fans packed into the lower bowl of the Air Canada Centre to cheer on some of the biggest and brightest stars that women's hockey has to offer. This year, the league hopes to do the same.

34 players from the five CWHL teams will take part in the game, including four goaltenders, 12 defencemen and 18 forwards. Nine of the 34 players selected are from the Canadiennes.

An online fan-vote campaign was used to select the two all-star captains, with the Furies' Natalie Spooner and the Canadiennes' Julie Chu coming out on top as the two fan favourites. The two captains will select their respective teams Friday night at the All-Star Frozen Fantasy Draft at the Toronto Hilton.

The All-Star Game itself is Saturday afternoon at the ACC. Tickets are only $10, and can be purchased here.
