Leafs vs Bruins and Rangers vs Washington - Open Thread
Two early games are on the docket today with two teams looking to tie up their series at 2.
Both the Maple Leafs and the Rangers are down 2-1 in their series, with the Bruins and Capitals ahead.
Contrary to media narrative, Phil Kessel has been having a pretty good series against Boston, and as he has his entire career, is scoring in the playoffs. The powerhouse player for the Leafs offensively though may be James van Riemsdyk, who has been stepping up physically as well.
The Rangers have been relying on Henrik Lundqvist heavily as always, and he hasn't disappointed, but Braden Holtby has been even better for Washington.
Each game will be the difference between a series tie and a stranglehold. Should be some good hockey tonight.
