Best-of-five series tied 2-2

Things were looking bleak for the Laval Rocket in their best-of-five series with the Toronto Marlies after losing 6-2 in both Game 2 and Game 3. But the North Division’s top seed responded in Game 4, shutting out the team that scored 12 goals in the previous two outings to force a fifth and deciding game.

That match will be played at Place Bell, with the support of a crowd of 10,000 for the home team. Feeling more confident about their game, the Rocket are carrying some momentum into the contest and looking for a fast start.

Kaapo Kähkönen recovered well from a couple of poor starts, and will need another solid one to help the team complete this comeback. Adam Engström’s return to the lineup was one of the biggest factors in Game 4’s result, and his play at both ends of the ice will give the team its best shot to claim a second consecutive win and move on to the North Division Final versus the Cleveland Monsters.
