Michael Frolik skated on the team’s fourth line with Paul Byron and Jake Evans. It remains to be seen whether that will stick for Saturday’s game. It would be Frolik’s first NHL game of the season after he played two AHL games with the Laval Rocket. It appears as though Corey Perry will be the odd man out as he alternated in on the top two lines.
Tyler Toffoli got promoted to the line with Jonathan Drouin and Nick Suzuki, while Artturi Lehkonen joined Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia. The line of Tomas Tatar, Phillip Danault, and Brendan Gallagher stayed together.
