Cole Caufield returned to Montreal Canadiens practice on Monday, and took his spot with Nick Suzuki and Tyler Toffoli on the team’s top line.
Monday was the team’s first full practice that wasn’t split in groups, so we get a clearer picture of where things stand.
The line of Christian Dvorak, Josh Anderson, and Jonathan Drouin stayed together, and Jake Evans and Joel Armia found Brendan Gallagher on their wing. Artturi Lehkonen skated with Mathieu Perreault and Alex Belzile, while Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was with Ryan Poehling, and Jesse Ylönen.
On defence, there weren’t many changes. Joel Edmundson is still sidelined.
