Lukas Vejdemo, Alexandre Fortin, and Jan Mysak have been cut from training camp.
Mysak will be assigned to the OHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs, rather than to the AHL, an option that was open to him because he had played 20 games in Laval last season. Vejdemo will need to clear waivers to be assigned to Laval.
There are still several members of the organization at camp who need to be exposed to the 31 other teams before an AHL assignment can be made, and we may see more of those players at noon tomorrow.
Montreal is back in action on Saturday night at home versus the Senators, sending out a lineup made from the reduced roster they’re currently running 12 days from the start of the NHL’s regular season.
