The Montreal Canadiens issued an update on the injuries of Noah Juulsen, who has been out since Saturday, and Michael McCarron who missed his first practice on Tuesday.

With both player and agent approval, defenseman Noah Juulsen will consult a specialist for a second opinion regarding his headaches.

Juulsen consulting a specialist for a second opinion is not very comforting news as he tries to return after an eye injury that kept him out for the end of last season. McCarron is trying to make the team and any time off will really hurt his chances to do that.
The team also announced the team heading to Renous, New Brunswick to face the Florida Panthers on Wednesday. Charlie Lindgren and Michael McNiven will make the trip. It remains to be seen if they will split the net.
Jonathan Drouin replaces Brendan Gallagher on the line with Phillip Danault and Tomas Tatar while Charles Hudon gets a chance with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia.
Ben Chiarot will play with Jeff Petry as he makes his pre-season debut with the Canadiens.
