The Canadiens see a third forward claimed off waivers this season.

After being placed on waivers 24 hours ago, Kenny Agostino has been claimed by the New Jersey Devils.

Agostino is the third forward the Montreal Canadiens have lost on waivers this season, joining Nikita Scherbak and Jacob de la Rose. It is another blow to the Canadiens organizational depth at forward.

Despite the loss of Agostino, the Rocket have had a few reinforcements over the last few days. Dale Weise was practicing with the team for the first time on Monday morning, as was Karl Alzner who is back with the team after clearing waivers on Sunday.

The Rocket also announced two other new additions. Morgan Adams-Moisan was recalled from the ECHL’s Maine Mariners and Marc-Olivier Roy was signed to a professional try out. Roy was previously with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL and was an invite to Rocket training camp.

Laval’s injury list includes Michael McCarron and Antoine Waked, and has added Hunter Shinkaruk left Saturday’s game and was not at practice on Monday.

Update: Dale Weise has been recalled by the Canadiens.
