The Montreal Canadiens continue to stockpile players for the Laval Rocket, with their latest signing of winger Kenny Agostino. The team announced they signed the 26-year-old to a one-year, two-way contract.

Per the Canadiens, Agostino will make $700,000 in the National Hockey League, and $275,000 while in the American Hockey League. He’ll be guaranteed to make $350,000.

Agostino has limited National Hockey League experience, scoring two goals and six points in 22 career games. He’ll be leaned on for his American Hockey League experience.

He split the 2017-18 season with the Boston Bruins and their AHL affiliate in Providence, scoring 16 goals and 53 points in 64 contests.

The winger won the AHL’s Most Valuable Player award during the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Wolves, scoring 24 goals and 83 points in 65 games.
