What looked to be another concussion for Andrew Shaw on Tuesday night reduced the Canadiens complement of forwards, and McCarron is the one to get the call from the AHL team.
McCarron had played eight games for the Canadiens at the beginning of the season, but was unable to get his name on the scoresheet. He has seven points in 59 career NHL games. He has 24 points in 52 games with the Rocket this season.
