Two Habs get closer to a return.

The Montreal Canadiens received some good news this morning as two injured players took to the ice before their teammates this morning.

Shea Weber and Phillip Danault skated together. Danault has skated on his own before, but for Weber, it was his first time skating since being shutdown.

As for the healthy bodies, it was more of the same for the Habs. Nikita Scherbak continued with Alex Galchenyuk and Jonathan Drouin. Max Pacioretty stayed with Paul Byron and Charles Hudon as well.

The fourth line was Nicolas Deslauriers with Byron Froese and Logan Shaw which means that Daniel Carr and Jacob de la Rose remained as the extra bodies.

On defence, the rotation of Joe Morrow, David Schlemko, Jakub Jerabek and Jordie Benn stayed constant with Jerabek still the odd man out.

The pairing of Jeff Petry and Karl Alzner remained constant. Victor Mete also continued to take a regular rotation.
