Price will be taking part in his sixth All-Star game. Last year, he was one of the four captains for the game but that honour goes to Steven Stamkos this year.
Price has dealt with injuries this season, but has rebounded from a slow start. He has a 13-14-2 record with a 2.89 goals against average and .911 save percentage. He has one shutout.
He has been in the 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2017 games.
Price will share the Atlantic Division goal with Tampa Bay goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy. The Lightning have four representatives plus coach Jon Cooper on the roster.
The All-Star game will be held in Tampa Bay. The skills competition will be held January 27 at 7:00 p.m. and the 3-on-3 divisional tournament will be held on January 28 at 3:30 p.m.
