The Montreal Canadiens will get a few veterans back in the lineup in Quebec City as they face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.

Andrew Shaw and Jonathan Drouin both make their return to the lineup, and will play in their second pre-season games

Carey Price will start, and is expected to play the full game.

It looks like Michael McCarron will get a chance with two NHL wingers.

It isn’t clear whether this is a permanent switch or just for today, but Galchenyuk will play a pre-season game without Phillip Danault for the first time, and has Shaw on his right.

Mark Streit will get another chance to play, this time on the right of Joe Morrow. This could be a final chance for Streit, Brandon Davidson, Eric Gelinas and Morrow to claim a spot on the team.

Victor Mete will play next to Shea Weber once again.

Jakub Jerabek will not play as he has a meeting to deal with paperwork issues.

The team also announced that Charlie Lindgren is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

The Canadiens also placed D Matt Taormina on waivers today.
