It was an optional skate for the Montreal Canadiens following their 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers in game four.
The good news is that Alexei Emelin, who suffered a lower-body injury on April 5th, took part in the practice, which indicates his injury recovery is nearing completion.

Andreas Martinsen, Michael McCarron, Nikita Nesterov and Brian Flynn skated as well.
The series between the Rangers is currently tied 2-2, as the action shifts back to Montreal for game five. Puck drop is at 7:00 PM ET, Thursday night.
