Brandon Davidson was not present, as he’s currently out of commission with the flu. It may be wise to keep him as far away from Carey Price as humanly possible.

Alexei Emelin was not on the ice either, as he’s still nursing his lower-body injury.
The good news is that both Jordie Benn and Shea Weber took part, as both seem to be ready to face the Rangers on Wednesday.
The Habs started by running some powerplay configurations, including second PP united with Artturi Lehkonen, Alex Galchenyuk, and Nathan Beaulieu in the mix.

Pacioretty - Shaw - Radulov
Markov - Weber
Lehkonen - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Beaulieu - Petry
As for the forward lineup, Galchenyuk finds himself on the fourth line with Steve Ott and Andreas Martinsen. We all know the best way to get one of your most creative forwards going is to give him minimal ice time with linemmates that have a grand total of 14 points this season. Of course, this could just be Julien sending a message to his young forward, and there’s no guarantee we’ll see Galchenyuk on the fourth line once the important hockey begins.
Les trios pour l’instant à l’entraînement.

Defensively, things are more or less back to normal with the return of Weber.
