Canadiens lines at practice, November 3: Galchenyuk moves to top line with Drouin, Lehkonen

Carey Price gets a day off

The Montreal Canadiens took to the ice for practice today in Winnipeg, and they were without Carey Price who was undergoing treatment.

After shaking up his lines late in the game against the Minnesota Wild, Claude Julien decided to make some of those changes stick. Alex Galchenyuk found himself moved up in the lineup, playing with Jonathan Drouin and Artturi Lehkonen.

Charles Hudon took Galchenyuk’s place on the fourth line.

Paul Byron moved back with Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher as well. Jacob de la Rose seems like the extra forward.

On defence, Karl Alzner was back with Jeff Petry while Brandon Davidson was back with Jordie Benn. The Benn-Alzner pairing has struggled lately.

The top pairing of Shea Weber and Victor Mete stays together.

The Canadiens play the Jets tomorrow night.
