The NHL announced the captains for the respective divisions today, and Montreal’s Carey Price made the list.

Pacific: Connor McDavid
Central: PK Subban
Metro: Sidney Crosby
Atlantic: Carey Price
The captains were chosen by the fans, and you’d be hard pressed to argue they made a mistake. All four players are considered among the elite in the NHL. Joining Price will be Connor McDavid for the Pacific division, Sidney Crosby for the Metro, and former Habs defenceman P.K. Subban for the Central. As it stands Subban is currently nursing an injury that will keep him out of play for the foreseeable future.
In 27 games this year Price has 18 wins, a .930 save percentage as well as two shutouts.
