In a well-publicized trade that took place at the beginning of round one of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, the Canadiens acquired restricted free agent Andrew Shaw from the Chicago Blackhawks in return for two second round picks.
Shaw took part in a conference call today to introduce himself to the Montreal media as we await news of a contract extension, and wasted little time getting his french out of the way:

Shaw commented on his relationship with GM Marc Bergevin, and why he believes Bergevin acquired him:
