The Montreal Canadiens have released their pre-season schedule today and all the action will get underway on September 26 when they host the New Jersey Devils.
The Canadiens will have four games at the Bell Centre, one at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City against the Boston Bruins on October 4. They are on the road in Ottawa and Toronto as well.
The World Cup of Hockey will run from September 17-October 1 so you can’t expect players participating in that tournament to take part in games or camp until their teams are eliminated.
All games are against Atlantic Division rivals except for the two first games against the Devils and the next day against the Capitals.
Here is the full schedule for the 2016-17 preseason.
