After blocking a Tom Gilbert shot with his foot last night, David Desharnais will miss the match up versus the Colorado Avalanche.
Desharnais à subi des rayons X après le match (a reçu un tir) et sera réévalué à Montréal. Ne jouera pas demain. #ch #habs

Michel Therrien's favourite forward underwent X-rays after the game, and will be reevaluated in Montreal.
The team started out practice without pucks, focusing on skating drills. The drills only lasted five minutes, which means the players dodged the dreaded bag skate.

The good news today is that the forward lines look very interesting.

Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Gallagher
Pacioretty-Eller-Andrighetto
Byron-De La Rose-Weise
Fleischmann/Lessio-Mitchell-DSP#Habs
Lars Eller centering Max Pacioretty and Sven Andrighetto has lots of potential, and we all know how efficient Alex Galchenyuk has been with Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher.
On the defensive side of things, Andrei Markov was paired with P.K. Subban, Nathan Beaulieu practiced with Tom Gilbert, whereas Greg Pateryn, Mark Barberio, and Alexei Emelin rotated on the third pairing.
