Jacob de la Rose has been re-called by the Montreal Canadiens, his first taste of NHL action since last year's playoffs according to TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie.

De la Rose has not put up earth shattering numbers in the AHL this year, with two goals and seven assists in 24 games this season. He also battled with injuries throughout the year too.
The Canadiens had a roster spot available when they sent down both Daniel Carr and Sven Andrighetto.
In 33 NHL games last year, he had four goals and two assists. He also played in 12 playoff games but was held scoreless.
I have to say, if the Canadiens are looking for offence, de la Rose over Carr or Andrighetto seems like an odd choice. De la Rose is also a left-handed shot so is not someone who can fill in on the right wing naturally. He has also been playing center in the AHL.
