Despite rumours that it was Montreal or nothing, coach Michel Therrien has put some water on the fire when it comes to Magnus Nygren's future.
Mygnus Nygren won't go back in Europe this season. Its Montreal or Hamilton. #canadiens #tvasports

As you may remember, Nygren was the subject of some controversy, after he returned to Sweden following a stint in Hamilton. He didn't exactly have great things to say about the city, but he clearly seems intent on giving it another shot this year as opposed to returning to his Swedish club Farjestads.
Nygren is facing stiff competition for the remaining spots on the Habs blue line, from the likes of Nathan Beaulieu, Jarred Tinordi and Greg Pateryn. Unless he really impresses Habs brass, he's likely to start the year in Hamilton, which should be a huge boost to the Bulldogs blue line.
