Well if it isn't exactly the guy I wanted to see called up! With Douglas Murray suspended for three games, Nathan Beaulieu may get one last shot to impress the coaching staff before the playoffs begin.

Through 54 AHL games, Beaulieu has tallied 25 points and has been quite successful on a Bulldogs team that hasn't exactly had a great year. Most of us at EOTP have long been calling for him to be given a shot in the lineup over the likes of Murray and Francis Bouillon, and we are hopefully about to see what that looks like.
Nothing is official, aside from the fact that Beaulieu will be a part of the Canadiens roster, at least until Murray's suspension is served. According to the Canadiens official website, Beaulieu will join the team in Ottawa, and may be called on to suit up Friday night against the Senators.
