One of the greatest players, and ambassadors the game of hockey has ever boasted, Jean Beliveau is no longer with us. After struggling with poor health the last several years, Mr. Beliveau has passed on at the age of 83. He lived a full life, and touched the lives of all of us.
One of the greatest players to ever don a Canadiens jersey, Beliveau's class off the ice has superseded his career in the eyes of the public. You could never find a person with a bad thing to say about Le Gros Bill. He was everything you could ever want an athlete to be.
