After all the speculation surrounding Drayson Bowman being called up before the game on Saturday, the Montreal Canadiens have sent the veteran depth forward back down to the Bulldogs. Whether the call up was about a trade that never happened, or whether it was just a little financial reward for Bowman to get two days of NHL salary, we'll likely never know.
On the flip side, Jarred Tinordi has been called back up by the Canadiens, an expected move going into Tuesday's game against Winnipeg. Tinordi registered one shot on goal and went -2 in his two games against the Bulldogs, not exactly inspiring work, but we've seen how good he'd been in the NHL this season already. With how Nathan Beaulieu has played, it's unlikely that Tinordi will take his spot in the lineup, but he might see game action against Winnipeg, Boston, or Philadelphia this week.
