Patrick Holland's trip to Hamilton has been canceled

According to the Canadiens, Travis Moen won't be with the team in New York City, so Patrick Holland remains in the lineup.

"Hey Patrick, remember how we sent you down to Hamilton last night? Never mind that, come on back."

After Michel Therrien assured us last night in the post game press conference that Travis Moen just suffered a cut and would be fine, today the Canadiens announced that he wouldn't be making the trip to New York City to take on the Rangers, so Patrick Holland's short stay in Hamilton has been canceled.

What's confusing about this is that even with Holland back in the lineup, the Canadiens are flying to Manhattan with 11 healthy forwards and 5 healthy defensemen. At this point we have to assume that something is up, either there's another recall to be made after the Bulldogs play today, or a few injured players are ready to return.

Max Pacioretty's injury was 15 days ago today, so he's still about a week from returning if he's on schedule. George Parros is skating with the team, but not cleared for contact, and same goes for Douglas Murray. And even if Murray was cleared, icing a Murray - Bouillon pairing sounds like the most terrifying idea on the planet.
