Muller was initially brought into the team to be a conduit between the players and former head coach Michel Therrien, and has remained on the staff with Claude Julien taking the reins.
Muller oversees the power play for the team, and has helped pull it back into respectability in recent years, ranking 10th at one point last season despite the overall offensive struggles of the team.
This week it was revealed that Muller had been deadling with Lyme disease last season, and is just now feeling symptom free.
