Brendan Gallagher hustled down a loose puck, won a battle in spite of being tripped, fought his way out of the trip and to the front of the net, took a shot off his chest, and batted the puck into the net, past Craig Anderson.
If only Gallagher had then pushed Anderson over to celebrate, it would be a goal that summed up his entire NHL career so far.
