Brendan Gallagher scores the most Gallagher goal ever

Brendan Gallagher hustled down a loose puck, won a battle in spite of being tripped, fought his way out of the trip and to the front of the net, took a shot off his chest, and batted the puck into the net, past Craig Anderson.

If only Gallagher had then pushed Anderson over to celebrate, it would be a goal that summed up his entire NHL career so far.

Thanks to Gallagher, the Montreal Canadiens have scored first for the very first time in this series, leading the Ottawa Senators 1-0 in a game where the Senators face elimination on home ice.
