With fans on social media on him all game long for fumbling the puck and looking nervous, Alex Galchenyuk showed his mettle in overtime with a quick spin and a shot that beat Andrew Hammond and gave the Montreal Canadiens a 2-0 series lead over the Ottawa Senators.
In Galchenyuk's young career, he already has two overtime game winning goals in the playoffs, in just 12 games. Even more impressive, of those 12 games, only four have gone to overtime, with the Habs splitting the difference with two wins and two losses, meaning both times the Habs won, Galchenyuk was the hero.
