Bulldogs Player of the Week: Michael Bournival
After suffering a shoulder injury that kept him out several weeks, Bournival was assigned to Hamilton for a weekend conditioning assignment. In three games Bournival showcased a well rounded offensive game, and notched four points overall. In his first game back against the Toronto Marlies, he would be held off the score sheet in 3-1 loss. The following night in a rematch in Toronto, Bournival registered three points in a 4-2 victory.
Bournival opened the scoring for Hamilton in the first period with assists going to Mac Bennett and Charles Hudon. Bournival and Hudon also each registered assists on Daniel Carr's game winning goal midway through the third period, and Bournival added an empty net goal for his third point of the game. In his final game of the weekend Bournival set up T.J. Hensick for a late game tying goal to force overtime against the Texas Stars.

Charles Hudon: Another week of games and another week all alone on top of the AHL scoring race for Hudon who leads Teemu Pulkkinen and Jason Williams by one point. Hudon notched two assists in a 5-3 win over Adirondack and added a goal and two assists against Toronto later in the week.
Sven Andrighetto: It appears that it is nearly impossible to stop Andrighetto from putting the puck in the net these days. The Swiss sensation registered a three point game(1G 2A) against Adirondack and then added another goal against Toronto before being called up to Montreal. Once in Montreal Andrighetto decided to keep scoring goals and registered his first NHL goal Saturday night against Dallas.
Gabriel Dumont: The Bulldogs captain finally got himself on the scoresheet this week by tallying an assist on Drayson Bowman's empty net goal.
Christian Thomas: Thomas continues to put the puck in the net and did so again this week against Adirondack on a penalty shot where he showcased some slick moves at the expense of Joni Ortio.
Magnus Nygren: Nygren did not play this week due to an illness and is expected to be healthy for next weeks games.
Daniel Carr: Carr only hit the scoresheet once last week when he scored the game winning goal against Toronto.
Drayson Bowman: Bowman spent most of the week in the pressbox in Montreal but scored an empty net goal against Adirondack in his only game played last week. Bowman was sent down on Sunday to make room for Bournival in the Habs lineup.
Eric Tangradi: Tangradi is currently playing on the fourth line in Montreal where he has registered zero points.
Mac Bennett: Bennett was made a healthy scratch twice last week but still managed an assist on Michael Bournival's opening goal against Toronto.
Greg Pateryn: Pateryn is still struggling to find consistency in his offensive game and managed only an assist against Texas on T.J. Hensicks game tying goal.
Jacob de la Rose: De la Rose was held pointless in four games last week. De la Rose is eligible for Sweden's World Junior team, however it is unclear if he will be released to compete.
Nathan Beaulieu: Beaulieu had a quiet week and registered a single goal against Adirondack. With Mike Weaver injured against Dallas it is possible that we could see Beaulieu recalled to Montreal.
Darren Dietz: Dietz isn't posting huge scoring totals but he snapped an eleven game pointless streak against Adirondack with his second goal of the year.
Davis Drewiske: No points this week for the veteran defensemen.
Jarred Tinordi: Tinordi like many others got on the score sheet against the Flames with an assist in the 5-3 victory but was held pointless in his other three games.
Morgan Ellis: Ellis had two goals and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers this week.
Connor Crisp: Crisp was a healthy scratch in all four games this week.
Jack Nevins: Nevins added seven PIMs to his name and had a career best two(TWO) shots on goal. He also got his face busted up by Nolan Yonkman.
Joey MacDonald: Joey Mac had a solid week between the pipes with two wins and a .925 SV%
Mike Condon: Despite another stellar week by Condon he was winless but managed a .931 SV%
