Hamilton Bulldogs Game Thread: Bulldogs @ Americans

The Bulldogs are set to play the Rochester Americans, the first of 12 meetings between the two teams, which takes place at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. The Americans (3-2-0-0) come into tonight’s game on a 2 game winning streak, after winning a wild 8-7 game against the Hershey Bears on Saturday night in Hershey. Marcus Foligno had 4 points, helping the Amerks overcome a pair of three-goal deficits, who scored 6 goals in the final 28 minutes of play to win the game. The Bulldogs come into tonight’s tilt after a 5-0 Marlies drubbing on Saturday night in Toronto. Robert Mayer allowed 3 goals on 6 shots and was pulled after only 10:24 of play, and the Bulldogs could never recover. You can read about that game in our game recap.
