Matt Drake and Jason Paul joined Patrik Bexell on the latest episode of the podcast to discuss the game against the Edmonton Oilers and the injuries that Montreal Canadiens suffered to Carey Price and Brendan Gallagher.

The panel also discuss the Alexander Romanov and Victor Mete pairing, an NHL rookie who seems to have settled down and a player whose agent publicly asked for a trade. The pairing was stellar against the Oilers. The two defenders look solid together and does this mean Victor Mete should get one of the protected spots in the upcoming Seattle Kraken expansion draft?

Jason Paul brings up an interesting thought: that Shea Weber could be taken off power play and penalty kill minutes to have him rested for the heavy minutes five on five. Would that improve Weber’s overall play?

There is some Laval Rocket talk as Cole Caufield had his first practice with the team and Jan Myšák signing his NHL contract. In the end, the panel talk about Jesperi Kotkaniemi’s move to the wing on the recent Canadiens practice, and what it can mean for his development.
