New, comments

In a season full of highs, Thursday was the biggest low.

Before Thursday night’s game against the Ottawa Senators, there were comments circulating about Thursday’s game against the Senators being the first real trap game of the young season.

The Montreal Canadiens were off to a hot start with only one regulation time loss in the first 10 games and this seemed like the perfect scenario for a tumble into the pattern of years past. Ultimately, this was exactly what happened as the Habs went on to lose 3-2 on home ice.

But don’t let a setback like this ruin all of the good from earlier. During the course of 30 minutes, Patrik Bexell and Anton Rasegård go through the last three games, including the ongoing win streak against the Vancouver Canucks.

Apart from analyzing and going through what went wrong with the second line on Thursday, the Swedes discuss captain Shea Weber’s role on the team as he celebrated his 1000th NHL game, and more.

Anton also gives out his three stars of the week, where he goes against the grain to hand out compliments to four different players.
