With the news that Claude Julien and Kirk Muller have been fired, Dylan Waugh, also known as the Habs-Statician on Twitter and host of the eponymous podcast, joins Habsent Minded to speak about why Claude Julien was fired.

Did Julien get stuck in his own system? Could he not adjust to the new kind of hockey that seems to be taking over in the NHL? The resources that Marc Bergevin brought into the team this off-season, were they on behalf of Julien’s wishes to implement said system? What happened after the Western road trip, as Julien went back to “the turtle” and try to play some kind of defence first, rather than the attacking hockey that had been successful before?
