Habsent Minded Episode 4.30: “It never rains in California, it pours”

The Canadiens come back from another tough California trip.

Another week has passed, during which the Montreal Canadiens doubled their win total for the season. Patrik Bexell, Jared Book and Anton Rasegård get together to blast out a fresh episode of Habsent Minded, covering all things Canadiens.

Cole Caufield has struggled in his rookie year and after 10 games, management decided to send him down for a possible confidence boost in Laval. Was this the right move to make?

In his place, Montreal called up pre-season starlet Michael Pezzetta. Pezzetta has continued to play well for the Rocket during the opening eight games, tallying six points while demonstrating his everlasting grit. This means that a player who was recently ranked as number 36 on this year’s Top 25 Under 25 should be primed for his NHL debut. As is the story with hockey as a sport, the tables can turn in the blink of an eye.

Other subjects covered include Cédric Paquette and his expected suspension, the eventuality of any Habs’ players on World Juniors and/or Olympic rosters, and what is missing from this year’s edition of the Montreal Canadiens.
