The World Junior Championships are all wrapped up, ending with Team USA’s winning their fifth ever gold medal. Jared Book, Patrik Bexell and Anton Rasegård conjoin do discuss how the three players from the Montreal Canadiens performed in regards to our previous expectations. Who has impressed us the most during this two-week span?
One thing was certain, one Canadiens prospect would return from Alberta with a gold medal in a firm grasp. In the end, Cole Caufield won the in-game duel between the first rounders against Kaiden Guhle and ended his national junior career in the best possible way.
It has been terrific to be able to watch impactful hockey for the first time in months and good will soon turn into better, as Montreal have started their training camp and we’re finally closing in on a return to NHL game play.
