Jared Book and Anton Rasegård recap the last three games focusing on the Montreal Canadiens’ early success and the reasons why they are on a roll right now.

The podcast was recorded just as the reports that Tyler Myers would avoid a suspension for his high hit on Joel Armia were beginning to take shape. Is there a problem with the current rules that surround late hits in the head and neck area? Is there reason for the Habs players to retaliate against the Vancouver Canucks’ in the upcoming game on Saturday night?

Since our last recording, the third line has received their time in the spotlight. Tyler Toffoli is now tied for the league lead in goals scored, with all of his five tallies coming in the last two games. Meanwhile, Armia had four points in the 7-3-win on Thursday. Claude Julien continues to rely on all of his four lines to produce, and has the opportunity to reward whoever has the hot hand with a few more minutes of playing time.

Carey Price has has been conceding more goals than ideal in two of his three games so far. Is there reason for Montreal supporters to start worrying about the goalie situation going forward? (Spoiler alert: No.)
